I practice Pilates to train my core to be as strong as possible. My favorite is Mari Winsors 20 Minute Pilates Workout. It's challenging but doable. It really gets you into the habit of engaging your core and works very quickly. I noticed a change in the way the waistlines of my clothes fit after only about 3 days. It's great for your posture, which in pageantry, is sooo important. 😊

These walking styles are hilarious! The number 1 is the funniest😅😂😅 because I've seen it many times. I see these among amateur models or pageant contestants without much on-stage experience. Your face nailed those walks too.😂😂

If your teeth take away from your facial beauty and symmetry, you should consider getting advice from an orthodontist. If it's just a matter of a chipped tooth or teeth needing cleaning or whitening, ask your dentist for advice. In general, you should have your teeth professionally cleaned every six months. A chipped tooth ( or teeth,) can be very easily fixed. You can also use over the counter whiteners like Crest White strips that do a great job of whitening your teeth.😁

The mic tip isn't across the board. I've seen videos where the emcee actually hands the mic to the contestant. This is something I'd ask about during rehearsal.

Another tactical top is to apply plain Vaseline ( petroleum jelly, ) to your gums and teeth before going in stage. This combats dry mouth coming from nervousness and makes it easier for you to smile longer. It also prevents lipstick from sticking to your teeth. Speaking of lipstick sticking to your teeth, after you apply ypur lipstick, wipe inside your upper lip down to where your lipstick starts. This will also prevent excess lipstick from sticking to your teeth. 😊

I love the info regarding the facial feedback hypothesis. When I was a child, my mom used to always tell me to smile. I don't think she knew about the formal hypothesis, but she knew it made you look and feel better. Now I know why. I will try to steer the judges toward this subject in my interview.😊
